Resource 1 is in need of a Technical Writer for a 3 month contract to hire opportunity located in downtown Chicago, IL. The Technical Writer will be responsible for the following tasks:*Working with developer*s to gather and create documentation on electronic trading systems. *Developing external support documentation (ie Developer*s Guides, User Guides, Online Help, Checklists, Message Specifications) *Disseminating updates and necessary information to all necessary departments- Experience with RoboHelp X5 (Web Help and Oracle Help) required- Experience with Adobe FrameMaker required- Experience with FIX Protocol is preferred- Strong technical background and understanding of Internet-related technologies - Proven ownership of writing projects.* from research and editing stages through final distribution to clients - Writing and editing experience with established style guidelines - Ability to analyze and logically organize complex technical information - Experience with online publishing and content management applications- Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel) To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
