This position is responsible for day-to-day management of the data planning staff; assigning work, resolving issues and achieving Corporate objectives through staff; clear understanding of information ROI, and task management skills to obtain objectives; thorough knowledge and understanding of Corporate business objectives and data strategy.
Experience: Position Requirements:

1) 5 years leading an IT staff of data modelers with a Bachelor Degree OR 7 years leading an IT staff of data modelers;
2) 7 years data modeling experience developing logical and dimensional models;
3) 2 years experience developing data models with ERWin;
4) demonstrated experience leading development of relational and dimensional data models for logical and physical implementations;
5) demonstrated experience leading development of data models for operational, transactional systems and reporting applications;
6) demonstrated experience leading development and enforcement of data modeling standards and procedures;
7) demonstrated experience with deployment of databases using DB2 and MS SQL Server;
8) demonstrated experience with deploying solutions on the mainframe and distributed platforms;
9) demonstrated experience with leading requirements gathering and model development, review and approval sessions with business and technical staff;
10) demonstrated experience documenting data modeling requirements and issues;
11) demonstrated experience working across multiple technical and business areas to resolve data modeling issues and produce an optimal solution;
12) demonstrated knowledge of MS Office Suite of tools.




Preferred Position Requirements:

Preference will be given to applicants with the following skills and/or experience:
1) Experience with large scale process modeling and solution design;
2) Project management experience with large system development or maintenance projects;
3) Experience with MS Project;
4) Experience with CA Model Manager and various ETL tools;
