Robert Half Technology has a client, on the northside of Chicago, who is seeking an Access / Crystal Reports / Desktop Support Analyst to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis.

Experience: The Access / Crystal Reports / Desktop Support Analyst must be a solid communicator; able to ask for help or lend effective assistance. While travel is limited (<5%), willingness to travel to NY Office or events is preferred. Able to extract relevant data and then analyze and interpret results (note trends, explain variations, etc.) required. Experience with databases (setup, maintenance). Experience with Crystal Reports (v9). Experience with iMIS (Customer, A/R modules) a plus. Prefer experience with some accounting software and thus an understanding of database report writing vs. financial report writing (MAS500 knowledge a plus). Self-driven to be effective with minimal supervision. Process and results oriented (how you get there is as important as getting there). Not-for-profit or for-profit experience appreciated equally. Willing to assist with minor infrastructure and hardware needs. Future opportunity includes ability to create and deliver presentations to management.
