One of SGA's major financial clients is seeking a Senior Oracle Developer for a contract position in Chicago, IL. As a Oracle Sr. Developer, your focus will be to develop and test mission critical enterprise applications that meets the needs of the business. As developer you will Adhere to coding standards, procedures, and techniques and contribute to the technical code and design documentation. You will also be responsible for the design of complex ETL jobs, conducting code reviews and ensuring quality solutions are built and tested.
Qualifications:

Oracle development experience 5+ years
Expert knowledge in Oracle 10g and above, in a Unix environment
Must be comfortable with backup/restore, installing, updating, monitoring and tuning multiple Oracle databases.
Strong hands-on development experience working with Oracle SQL & PL / SQL
Strong UNIX skills and shell scripting and ORACLE tools (sqlloader, export, import)
Strong documentation skills and be able and willing to document all procedures
Proficient in analyzing data to meet the business need
Excellent analysis skills, able to interact with team members to derive and interpret business needs
Mature design, coding, testing and debugging skills
Experience with offshore or offsite models a plus
Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle.
Current Technology: DataStage 8.x, Crystal Report 2008, Business Objects XI R2 and Oracle Rack 11g.
