Responsible for the support and delivery of Network Optimization Services to Cisco's major accounts. Performs architectural design and integration for complex, cross-functional network designs. Assists customer with tool selection and strategic direction of Advanced Services (AS) tools, network management systems. Identify & document design/architecture best practices for global AS adoption. AS Virtual Team: Provides backup support on other NCE accounts. Provide training to other Network Consulting Engineer's as well as real-time escalation response for support issues. Lead technical design/architecture reviews of NOS projects. Owns responsibility for driving regional AS projects. In depth knowledge in TWO or more of : IP Inter networking, LAN Switching, ATM, WAN Expertise & Voice technologies. Expert level Inter-networking troubleshooting in a large scale network environment. Undertake support as designated AS engineer typically for 2 accounts within 3 months of hire date. May support up to 3 accounts Need to be CCIE upon hire date. Large scale Network Design Experience. Active participant in virtual technology teams within AS.
