Identify & document design/architecture best practices for global AS adoption. AS Virtual Team: Provides backup support on other NCE accounts. Leverage and generate applicable technical best practices white papers within virtual team. Provide training to other Network Consulting Engineer's as well as real-time escalation response for support issues. Lead technical design/architecture reviews of NOS projects. REQUIRED SKILLS: In depth knowledge in TWO or more of : IP Inter networking, LAN Switching, ATM, WAN Expertise & Voice technologies. Expert level Inter-networking troubleshooting in a large scale network environment. Undertake support as designated AS engineer typically for 2 accounts within 3 months of hire date. May support up to 3 accounts Need to be CCIE upon hire date. Large scale Network Design Experience. Active participant in virtual technology teams within AS. PREFERRED SKILLS: Leading edge technology design assistance for 2 major networks. Work is reviewed in terms of meeting AS specific initiatives. Drives and oversees the implementation of NSA customer projects. Typically reports to Mgr or Sr Mgr AS. Goals set by overall Manager with assistance of group Director.
