Salary Range: $84,000 to 110,000



Responsibilities:

- Work closely with business and technology counterparts to understand the enterprise objectives and initiatives and their impact on the enterprise architecture and the current projects underway or planned

- Develop business cases for project initiatives including work and budget estimates.

- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan for the Oracle e-Business DBA team activities ensuring team activities are prioritized appropriately, resource utilization is balanced, and cross team dependencies are accounted for

- Manage the execution of the project plan from original conception through final implementation and support. This includes tracking daily activities and actual work effort to ensure milestones are being achieved on-time and within budget

- Manage production efforts of the Oracle e-Business DBA team ensuring SLAs are being met.

- Interface with all areas impacted by the project and support efforts including the business and technology

- Proactively manage issues and risks by developing action plans and mitigation strategies and managing these to resolution.

- Review and provide analytical guidance to Oracle e-Business DBA team deliverables to ensure standards are being followed and approaches are sound

- Manage the professional development of Oracle e-Business DBA team members balancing team requirements with personal development needs.

- Lead and facilitate meetings

- Responsible for overseeing monitoring, and second and third tier resolution of production issues and alerts

- Work effectively with Oracle DBAs, developers, infrastructure teams and external customers to resolve problems with application/database systems



Qualifications:

- Experience leading Oracle 11.5.9 or 11.5.10 Applications including; Financials, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, ASCP, or HRMS Experience installing, upgrading, cloning, and patching Oracle 11i applications

- Experience leading a multi-tier Oracle Applications environment.

- Experience leading performance tuning, setting up highly availability, and securing Oracle Applications 11i Oracle Applications system administration experience including concurrent manager configuration.

- Strong understanding of the Oracle technology stack and architecture for Oracle Applications 11.5.9/11.5.10

- Experience leading Oracle 9i database management systems and overall Oracle technical environment.

- Strong desire and aptitude to learn new technologies and additional Oracle solutions.

- Ability to mentor and develop junior administrators.

- Ability to implement, enforce, and adhere to standards.

- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively under pressure

- Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully managing the execution of multiple complex technology infrastructure projects concurrently.

- 4 years of Oracle database administration, 4 years of Oracle applications administration, 2 year of Oracle 11i applications administration

- Significant experience creating project plans in Microsoft project and managing the execution to the plan

- Strong business and technical acumen.

- Ability to take an initiative from concept and develop a plan and budget to implement and manage the implementation efforts

- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship skills.

- Very strong leadership and ability to command respect at all levels of the organization.

- Self-starter with excellent administrative, interpersonal skills and project management

- Experience managing the professional development of technical resources.

- Ability to work flexible hours as required by business priorities
