Client is a leading software company focused on Master Data Management and Customer Data Integration. The Technical Consultant is an integral member of the implementation team responsible for delivering the software solutions to Fortune 500, government, and large healthcare customers.
The Technical Consultant is focused on gathering technical and business requirements, collaborating with customers and peers to design an optimal solution and performing software installation and configuration activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
.Implement software for Fortune 500, government, and large healthcare clients
.Gather and document technical, architectural, and business requirements
.Collaborate on solution design and install software
.Analyze customer data and develop appropriate software configurations to meet customer data and business requirements
.Solve technical and configuration issues
.Travel to client sites up to 25-50%


Experience: Required Skills & Experience:
.Must have completed coursework in and demonstrated a strong understanding of one or more of the following technologies: relational databases, enterprise software packages, scripting languages, programming languages, enterprise application support
.Knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one of the following: SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Informix
.Previous experience with scripting languages such as PERL is highly preferred
.Working knowledge of Java/J2EE or C++
.Working knowledge of one or more of the following operating systems: Unix, Linux, Solaris, AIX highly preferred
.Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly is essential
.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
.Ability to communicate technical concepts in simple terms
.Ability to work independently and multitask
.Previous relevant technical internship or work experience is preferred

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
