Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Senior Application Developer with solid experience in enterprise application development and troubleshooting. This includes solid working knowledge of object oriented development methodologies, experience with multiple technologies, and the ability to meet or exceed business requirements through application design.
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in application development, with at least 6 years of in-depth experience in software development using OOAD including Java/J2EE, and at least three years of architecting, designing and developing applications
- Experience with Open Source, Eclipse, MVC framework Jakarta Struts, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Struts, Tiles, Tomcat JBOSS, Hibernate, FOP, XML, XSL T, CSS, DOM, etc.
- Proven track record of success with J2EE projects, implementing stable, robust J2EE solutions quickly and efficiently.
- Strong Object-Oriented Design and Analysis experience
- Experienced with UML, Rational Rose, Design Patterns, Reusable Component Design, Coding Standards and Methodologies.
- Thorough understanding of standard enterprise application issues, including scalability, performance, reliability, data contention, availability, compatibility, etc.
- Solid understanding of database concepts using Oracle and SQL Server RDBMS, Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers.
- Experience with EAI, SOAP, UDDI
- Ability to work unsupervised and the ability to multi-task
- SAS experience would be a plus
