Product Support Specialist in Chicago, IL
Our downtown (Gold Coast area) client is seeking a resource to be a blend of administrative and IT reporting support. The primary task of the Product Support Specialist is to support proprietary systems while supporting operational, sales and marketing support efforts. Tasks include:
Monitoring daily third party data feeds.
Monitoring system updates to internal tracking systems.
Managing system enhancements from simple to project-level upgrades.
Vendor and partner interface.
Manage system reports, including:
Review of current report set
Enhancements to existing reports
Creation of new reports
Ad Hoc reports – i.e. with Business Analytics tool set (if applicable)
Secondary tasks include backup support for Retail Web and Intranet sites, including publishing systems for those sites.

Experience: This Product Support Specialist position requires experience with the following: SQL; Access; Crystal Reports; IIS Server familiarity; Experience with web-based applications; HTML would be a plus; Microsoft Office products; SalesPage or Pyxis.
Candidates must also possess strong written and verbal communication skills. The successful Product Support Specialist will be a self-starter with ability to work in unstructured environment, possess numerical aptitude, be very detail-oriented and Customer Service/team minded.
Fund industry experience is highly desirable. Experience with accounting level data is required. Project management aptitude is required.
