Robert Half Technology in downtown Chicago has an exciting contract to permanent position for a web developer! The primary duties and responsibilities of the candidate will include the following:
Performs technical development as directed by the Project Manager. Estimates efforts based on functional specifications. Documents changes, performs unit testing and prepares development packet for code review. Interprets functional specifications into technical designs. Delivers code reviews, obtaining approval from management team for standards compliance and completeness. Reports issue status and report time in the issue-tracking database. Performs additional duties, projects and assignments as required.

Experience: Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent field required. Education is considered to include both the formal/traditional as well as learning from life and work experience.
2+ years experience with J2EE technologies including JSP, Java Servlets, JDBC (especially SQL Server), EJB.
Experience with web client technologies including HTML, DHTML/Style Sheets and JavaScript (intensive).
2+ years experience with database technologies including SQL Server.
Experience with web application design (including Model/View/Controller) using the Struts framework.
Experience with application server technologies including BEA WebLogic Server.
