Robert Half Technology has a client, located in the downtown loop, who is seeking a SQL Developer to join their team on a contract basis. The SQL Developer's responsibilities will include:SQL development including stored procedures, triggers and replication. Providing data warehousing/data integration. Designing/modifying scripts, views and stored procedures to store/retrieve data to/from server. Programming in SQL, VB, ASP. Recommending, building and analyzing indexes, Performing database backups. Creating and maintaining DTS packages. Assisting with disaster recovery planning. Creating and running reports using SQL Reporting Services.

Experience: 2+ years hands on SQL Server administration. BS in computer science or information technology. Experience in VB, Crystal Reports and ASP. Proficiency with table and index design. Experience using SQL Server Performance Monitor and Profiler. Understanding of full Software Development Life Cycle, methodologies, standards, and practices.
