Release Management Engineer

Great company in the Loop is seeking a Release Management Engineer with experience as build, version control and configuration management specialist for commercial software. The Release Management Engineer must have very strong skills and experience in working with version control systems like Visual Source Safe. The candidate must have strong skills in managing and configuring multiple development and testing environments including physical and virtual windows 2003 servers, asp.net applications, and VSS version control configurations. The Release Management Engineer must have familiarity with ASP.Net applications, C# and SQL Server, and TSQL code to assess the impact of code modifications. The candidate must have strong knowledge of software engineering principles, processes and best practices – specifically agile product development processes. The position requires strong knowledge of application deployment software and the ability to write scripts to automate the build of ASP.Net applications. The Release Management Engineer must establish and maintain automated processes for performing the build of both development and test environments for Engineering and QA.
