Genesis10 is seeking a Data Management - Conversion Events Coordinator in Chicago for a contract position.

The ideal Project Manager candidate should have:

. Experience in running one-time data conversion events (similar to managing Y2K event)

. Release Management experience

. 10+ years experience in estimating, staffing, managing, controlling, administering, budgeting and executing project efforts

. 2 years experience in Financial Services (preferred / brokerage knowledge desired)

. Experience in Data Warehousing (preferred)

. A substantial track record of capturing myriad details and being to able quickly categorize, prioritize and disseminate to others in pressure situations.

. Significant experience in project management skills, methods and techniques (planning, scheduling, project control procedures, etc.)

. Substantial experience in issue and risk management

. Strong organizational skills

. Strong leadership and motivational skills

. Ability to effectively interact with business unit management and IT leaders



The ideal candidate should be able to:

. Develop and manage multiple activities for the Mock (trial) and Live Conversion events.

. Set day-to-day conversion operations and direction

. Develop and maintain overall work plan

. Manage all aspects of the conversion efforts and coordinate issue resolution

. Coordinate conversion efforts with team members (internal and external), applications and business units

. Report overall status to management


Experience: Responsibilities:

The Data Management Conversion Events Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and direction of AG Edwards Mock (trial run) and Live Conversion events for Wachovia Data Management including overall coordination of all activities, planning, controlling and management status reporting.

Additionally, the candidate is expected to have the following or equivalent education and experience:



Education:

. 4 year college degree or equivalency required

. Project Management training, certificate or degree



Communication:

. Excellent verbal and written communication
