Our CHICAGO AREA client currently seeks an experienced SAS DEVELOPER for a 6 - 12 month (possibly longer) consulting engagement.


MUST have top notch technical experience with good business knowledge.

Required skills: SAS Base, Macros, reporting, ODS all in Unix environment. Experience with Excel. VBA skills also.

Business experience in decision management, Risk, marketing or Finance-not all but one of those areas would be necessary. Additionaly, mainframe / JCL / mainframe-SAS experience would be helpful.

Helpful skills: Analytics, C++ or Java instead of VBA would be acceptable; web development, HTML, JAVA.

Project description- Will be taking over maintenance of current reporting structure, redeveloping for expanded functionality with regard to report capabilities. Current structure has SAS code sitting on Unix box for reporting then dumps into Excel using VBA. Ideally, would like to develop web reporting capabilities. Reports are currently client based and want to move them to a more process orientated functionality to allow Account Acquisition, Authorizations and Existing credit management departments to run reports for their area.
