Genesis10 is seeking a Data Management Project Manager in Chicago for a contract position.

The ideal Project Manager candidate should have:

. 5+ years experience in estimating, staffing, managing, controlling, administering, budgeting and executing project efforts

. 2 years experience in Financial Services (preferred / brokerage knowledge desired)

. Experience in Data Warehousing (preferred)

. A substantial track record of successfully delivering projects on-time and within budget that provide the agreed upon scope to meet the business goals

. Significant experience in project management skills, methods and techniques (planning, scheduling, project control procedures, etc.)

. Significant experience in issue and risk management

. Strong organizational skills

. Strong leadership and motivational skills

. Ability to effectively interact with business unit management

. Significant experience with SDLCs and structured approaches to project management

. Solid experience with MS Project



The ideal candidate should be able to:

. Develop and manage project goals, objectives and scope

. Set day-to-day project operations and direction

. Develop and maintain overall work plan

. Develop and maintain project budget

. Manage all aspects of the project effort and coordinate issue resolution

. Coordinate project effort with team members (internal and external), applications and business units

. Report overall project status to management

. Determine appropriate resources to fill project positions

. Perform an overall risk analysis for the project


Experience: The Data Management Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and direction of Data Acquisition and Delivery project effort(s) including overall budgeting, planning, controlling and management status reporting.

Additionally, the candidate is expected to have the following or equivalent education and experience:



Education:

. 4 year college degree or equivalency required

. Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

. Project Management training, certificate or degree



Communication:

. Excellent verbal and written communication
