The ideal resource should have a solid technical background developing in the mainframe environment, with proven experience in COBOL, DB2, and CICS. At least 5+ years of programming experience required. The position requires strong analytical and problem solving skills, in addition to the necessary logic skills required to develop and maintain programs.

Minimum 5 years of experience in systems analysis, application design, development of specifications and/or prototypes, and the development, maintenance, and testing of programs, Responsible for interacting with various business areas to determine automation needs and provide ongoing systems support. Develops or maintains computer programs including designing, coding, testing, debugging, and installation as needed. Assigned to multiple projects of varying priorities and applications. Works under the direction of a team leader, senior technical person or analyst.
