Currently, we are seeking 3 Data Quality Analyst that have solid experience in analyzing, manipulating, testing and validating data. Must have experience writing SQL scripts and test data, drill down to identify errors.

Selected Individuals must be self motivated with a 'CAN-DO' ATTITUDE! As a member of the Data Quality team, selected individual will be responsible for the analysis and documentation of the root cause(s) of data quality cases, and will document remediation options. Duties will also include writing the requirements specifications for the necessary data remediation or code fix, producing a testing strategy and test plan for the verification of the fix, and participating in verification of the fix.

Daily Tasks may include:
Analyzing DQ cases, work with appropriate parties to obtain needed information, document root cause, update DQ case records, report status to DQ team lead, and communicate with requestor as needed.
Monitor new requests
Function as DQ consultant in new development efforts.
Participate in defining solution for data quality issues, and write requirements specifications for necessary fixes.
Design testing strategy and write test plan to verify data quality fixes.

Requirements:
A good understanding of brokerage and financial data, and of the ODS and BDW repositories, is required. Strong problem solving and analytical skills are needed. A detail oriented and inquisitive nature is conducive to the role. The opportunity will exist to fill data modeling functions as needed, but the primary focus of the position will be data quality. A demonstrated ability to define and execute quality initiatives, and a team player personality are therefore critical success factors of the successful candidate.

Required skills and experience:
Advanced SQL for Oracle or DB2, preferably both
Advanced data analysis skills, and especially experience in investigative data analysis.
Data quality assurance processes and procedures
Good understanding of brokerage industry and brokerage related data
Knowledge and experience in navigating in ODS and/or BDW, preferably both
Customer service experience and service oriented attitude
Able and comfortable with juggling multiple tasks and assignments.

Pluses include:
Development skills in PL/SQL and stored procedures (Oracle and/or DB2, preferably both)
Understanding of data warehousing concepts
Experience in data modeling (both relational 3NF and dimensional)
Defining and executing a data quality process
