Siebel configuration creates technical specifications from requirements and use cases, designs enhancements and configures the Siebel application to achieve the desired results, performs unit testing and participates in system testing. Must be able to work independently as well as with a team under direction from senior developers and supervisor.
Experience: REQUIREMENTS

1) Two years of work experience with a Bachelor Degree OR Three years of work experience with a Technical Certificate or college courses OR Four years of work experience.
2) 2 years of Siebel configuration development experience or 3 years full life cycle software development experience for a multi-tiered Object Oriented web-based application using Java.
3) Strong problem solving skills, effective verbal and written communication.
4) Experience using relational databases, SQL, XML, CICS and MVS a plus

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

1) Siebel 7.x certification
2) Planning skills including use of MS Project
3) Experience supporting call centers
4) Knowledge of Computer Telephony Integration
5) experience designing test cases and test plans
6) experience with EIM methodology
