Located in the Loop, Zacks Investment Management is a wealth management group that manages assets for institutions and wealthy private investors. Due to phenomenal growth, Zacks Investment Management has a current opportunity for a Systems Analyst.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Systems Analyst will be able to quickly understand the complex business rules involved in retail securities processing and translate these rules into design specs usable by software developers. The position is initially a hands on systems analyst role but is designed to grow, as the firm grows, to include managerial responsibility for trade management systems, portfolio accounting systems, SMA systems, custodial interfaces, performance reporting systems and SEC compliance.

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years experience in the design, implementation and management of automated and semi-automated systems for an investment management firm or brokerage firm.
Experience designing manual and automated processes required
Experience managing small to mid size IT projects required
Exposure to Axys Portfolio Accounting Systems a plus
Bachelors degree in Business Administration. MBA a plus.
Dynamic, self-confident individual able to work independently and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment, seeking appropriate input when necessary.
Willingness and ability to learn new subject matter quickly and accept new challenges and responsibilities.
