We are currently looking for a Configuration Management Engineer is to support CM activities for proprietary applications. These applications are large and complex; involving multiple components, multiple technologies, and multiple operating systems. As a CM engineer, the work is generally divided into support and maintenance/rewrites of CM Processes to promote efficiencies. Support tasks involve developer support as well as troubleshooting build and packaging failures and ClearCase issues regarding merges, views, baselines and user permissions.The CM engineer is also required to maintain build scripts as well as ClearCase utilities. As needed, the CM engineer will be tasked with analyzing build scripts as well as other CM processes and define projects to introduce efficiencies within these processes.

Responsibilities:
* Creating new ClearCase triggers, attributes,
hyperlinks, scripts
* Creating new branches and labels, config specs
ClearCase reporting iV merges, diff-labels
* Maintaining the official build process iV including patch builds
* Build Failure Analysis.
* Post-build packaging and staging.
* Coordinating new ClearCase releases with the CM-Tools Team.
* Implementing all ClearCase configuration changes.
* Timely execution of Change Requests
* Participating in the On-Call Schedule (offhours and weekend)
* Timely resolution or escalation of Incident Reports
* Developer support for all CM related questions
* Creating and maintaining functional specifications, technical specifications as well as training documentation for CM related processes
* Delivering all CM SLAs
* Providing Weekly Status Reports
Experience: Required Skills:
Must have Source Code Control Experience (ClearCase or Perforce a plus)
Familiarity with Versioning, Labeling, Branching, Baselines, Build Management, Views, Migrations, Config.Spec editing and implementing Triggers
Report Setup (Format and Templates) & Administration
Experience with builds, scripting and code merging
Proficient at PERL and UNIX scripting
Familiarity with ANT
Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities according to shifting priorities, work efforts, and deadlines.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Understanding of basic object oriented programming principles (Java programming experience a plus)

Highly Desired:

Experience with Perforce or other configuration management systems
Experience with continuous builds/integration and CruiseControl
Familiarity with Rational ClearQuest
Proficiency in KSH, SH and BASH

Nice To Have:

Understanding of Interest rates risk management and trading strategies.
Experience in a large financial institution.
Experience working in distributed enterprise type applications.
Familiarity with Rational RequisitePro
Familiarity with Ruby scripting
