Web Developer / Webmaster

Employment Type: Fulltime permanent

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Act as a full service resource for design and development of web-based applications
Collaborate with other teams on application visual design
Serve as the webmaster
Manage your source using control processes
Organize details and manage the promotion of applications to testing and production environments.
Track and follow through on reported production errors and issues
Occasional weekend/after-hours work may be required to assist in application rollouts
Thoroughly understand all facets of our application environment (network, server and desktop infrastructure)
Commit to quality and completeness

Top Skills:
Three (3) years of CSS, HTML and JavaScript development
Three (3) years web graphic/interface/application design
Two (2) years of ASP.NET development
Two (2) years of XML/XSLT development
Three (3) years working with MS SQL and complex stored procedure development

Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of database concepts
Demonstrable capability for application visual design
Strong communication, problem solving, and research skills
Strong enthusiasm for working with computers and the creation of quality software
Thorough understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts
Experience with classic ASP/VBScript
Experience with Macromedia Flash/Flex/Actionscript
Experience with PVCS Version Manager and/or Microsoft Visual SourceSafe
Experience with PVCS Tracker or other System Change Management tracking software
Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint portal server
Experience with Microsoft Office development
Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
