One of our Client currently looking to hire an experienced Sybase Developer either Full Time or contract to Permanent.
The developer will be responsible for:
Specification, design, and development of a large-scale database system within the financial system. Experience:
Should be familiarwith Sybase Adaptive Server 12.5.x.
Must be able to fine tune database server Performance using the features available in Sybase Adaptive server.
Should have experience in database administration.
Should have knowledge of various database optimization techniques such as row locking.
Should have knowledge of Sybase Replication
Should have strong SQL skills.
Should have working knowledge of Perl and unix shell scripting
Should be able to script many database tasks such as Table construction and data transfer.
Must be able to create tools to monitor database, replication, and unix/linux system performance.
Must have Previous experience managing database change process
Should have strong documentation skills and Previous experience of using DBArtisian.
