Prestigious Fortune 500 Company located in Chicagos Loop is currently seeking a Java J2EE Portal Developer with websphere experience. Candidates should be well versed in as many of the following technologies as possible: J2EE, JSP, Struts, Spring, and Websphere. Any financial or brokerage business experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsible for Java/J2EE developments and coding solutions to meet business requirements for IBM Websphere Portal application(s)
Deploy code to testing and production environments
Create and maintain documentation for applications
Provide technical troubleshooting on applications
Follow application security guidelines
Advise on potential issues identified in design or implementation of an application
Focus on providing solutions involving scalability, flexibility, reliability and responsiveness
? Communicate to clients, team, and management in a timely and clear manner


Technical Experience
2-5 years experience in J2EE development
J2EE, JSP/Servlet, XML
Toolsets: Rational Application Developer
IBM Websphere Portal (v5.1x) development experience
Frameworks: Hibernate, Struts, Spring.
